I looked far and wide for a design that made sense to me. I couldn't find any reviews or feedback for this product, but I bit the bullet with the expectation that the design would work as anticipated and the build would be good enough. This product fits the bill. This is a comfortable, ergonomic design that makes each joycon feel like a side-button mouse that you can hold with a "claw" grip (e.g., index finger on the L/R bumpers and middle finger optionally on the ZL/ZR triggers). The design provides ample access to the face buttons and joysticks. There are also small "windows" on the sides that reveal the joycon lights, which was a nice touch. The mouse design feels balanced when handled, thanks in part to sensible placement of material beneath the palm on the thumb sides. The design concept is basically exactly what I was hoping for, with additional advantages I hadn't thought of. This is a thoughtful design. The biggest elephant in the room, if it is one, is that these are made by extrusion (3D) printing and have just a few edges that show it. However, the material has a great feel on all functional surfaces, and the entire product feels sturdy but lightweight. This does not feel like a rapid prototype but rather a complete manufactured product that happens to be fabricated by 3D printing.Generally, the fit is snug without feeling like anything is going to get damaged. On my unit, the right joycon demands slightly more effort to insert and remove, but it's neither a hindrance nor a major difference.I can't speak to long-term durability as I just got the product (end of July 2025), but everything is sturdy and does not feel like it will fall apart easily or after only a few uses. The pads on the bottom look, feel, and function as they should. They did not peel off when used on a rough surface. If your main goal is to make the joycon feel like a mouse, this is kind of a no-brainer option. My first impressions are highly positive.I have medium-large hands (male) and believe this design would be comfortable in smaller or slightly larger hands.Last thing, I have found it easiest to insert the joycons from top (clicker) to bottom (palm) and removing them from bottom to top by pressing up from the underside.
